before you come

Visiting questions, answered.

Is there parking at UFOREA Penang?

Yes — Island 88 has its own multi-level car park directly under and beside the building. Parking is free for the first hour and a small flat rate afterwards. There's a sheltered drop-off lane right at the lobby, so on a rainy afternoon you can step out of the car straight into the lift.

Can we bring food, or is there a café on site?

Outside food and birthday cakes are welcome at the indoor café tables. Island 88 also has a row of family restaurants and a Starbucks on the ground floor. Same-day re-entry on the wristband stamp means you can step out for a proper lunch and come back.

Is there an age limit?

UFOREA is built for children up to about age 10. Babies under 12 months enter free with a paying adult, and seniors 60+ enter free with a paying child.

There's a Quiet Toddler Hour Monday to Thursday from 10am–12pm — fewer big kids, gentler music, ideal for under-3s.

Are strollers and wheelchairs welcome?

Yes — the entrance is step-free, lifts run from the car park to our floor, and the layout inside is wide and stroller-friendly. There's a stroller park near the entrance if you'd rather not push it around between zones.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, Visa, Mastercard, TouchNGo eWallet, GrabPay, DuitNow QR and Boost. Tickets bought online via the website are sent as a QR-code that the team scans at the front desk.

Is the playground accessible for kids with sensory needs?

Quiet Toddler Hour (Mon–Thu, 10am–12pm) is the calmest window — softer music and a slower-paced crowd. Cozy Nook has noise-buffered seating if your child needs a break.
